Theme for the day. "A rising tide moves all ships." The tide in Realestate is the per square foot in the home price. Check out this condo in the 'emerging' Midtown neighborhood of Detroit. Emerging or a neighborhood in transition usually means housing values are changing rapidly so do your home work.
Good practice when buying residential Realestate avoid being the highest price in the area. (i.e. The tide buyer). When one buys high it brings other home values up. However there is no guarantee the expensive home will recoup the original price. Take a look at 444 West Willis a 2 bedroom / 2 bath warehouse conversion loft in the transitional Midtown neighborhood of Detroit.
Number one on my list no matter the zip code is parking. How do you get from ones car or transit to the front door into your new dwelling. 444 Willis has gated card swipe parking. Not the best for this transitional area.
What is you number one priority when looking at property?
A raised platform kitchen? After a few glasses of wine my friends would, fall then get knocked out on that cement floor.
The open concept does present a great city view with the added bonus of a balcony.
The down side of this loft conversion; it appears to have no bedroom doors.
How would you decorate the bedrooms? They may have left the doors off to allow natural light into the room.
OK I do like the luxurious bath.
